After a modest start as a booth in a flea market, we’ve grown to multiple locations throughout the GTA. We are truly proud to be a part of making our customers’ everyday lives easier, better and (hopefully!) more fun.
Let’s take a look at a few of the reasons we’re so proud to be a Canadian owned and operated business.
1. Started in Pickering, now we’re here
It’s hard to believe it now, but Kitchen Stuff Plus began without the “Plus” in 1987 as a small booth at the Pickering Flea Market. We had the same same simple concept that remains to this day: buy direct, cut out the middleman, and pass the savings onto our customers. Six years later in 1993, the first Kitchen Stuff store opened at Yonge and Bloor in Toronto.

By 1995, Kitchen Stuff expanded to more than just kitchen stuff. We started to offer great deals on home products such as baths, rugs, candles, and decor, and so the Kitchen Stuff Plus was born. We are a true Canadian success story!
2. Always growing and evolving
From that small booth at the Pickering Flea Market, Kitchen Stuff Plus continues to expand throughout southern Ontario. We now have over 20 stores and are consistently opening new locations in addition to our famous Warehouse Sales in Toronto and Brampton.
We’re thrilled to move into new spaces and we’re even happier to stay true to our roots. We continue to offer the discount housewares and home decor value that we’ve been known for since the beginning. All the way from out west in Niagara and Hamilton, through the Greater Toronto Area, and east to Pickering and Whitby, we love being part of such amazing communities.

Kitchen Stuff Plus has thousands of loyal and enthusiastic customers who constantly amaze us with their loyalty to our stores. We love seeing familiar faces and truly value all the kind words our team is honoured to receive. As we continue to grow, we’re always so happy to help new customers discover all the practical and fun items we have to offer. (Just when you thought you could get through life without a pineapple corer, you know?)
